You know when you've converted from a full-time student to a full-time food monster, you just can't stop eating your way through life. I have definitely found happiness in GOOD food. Don't get me wrong here when I say I found happiness in food. It means that the food must taste awesome and great just like me.
Well, we've decided to give Architects & Heroes a try after noticing photos of their red velvet pancakes on Instragram & I was like "babe, let's go here tomorrow" and he agreed. Anything to do with food, he would say "Yes". Therefore, his love for food is more than his love for me. He says otherwise, but you know it is a lie.
So, I got myself three layers of mini red velvet pancakes. I definitely can say that it looks pretty and yummy. But the moment when I cut a slice of the pancake and popped it into my mouth, it was so dry. SO REALLY DRY. Even the maple syrup or the white chocolate sauce could not even save it. Although, it looks good but it does not taste that good which was really disappointing considering how far I've come to try out this place.
He, on the other hand, surprised me by ordering the panna cotta dish simply because he was not that hungry. However, the panna cotta was so soft and good but however, the berries were too sour that it's was overpowering the other components on the dish. But, I actually swapped my dish for his and finished it. That was how good it was.
To those in the Bentley area, you can either take the train or the bus. But for me, the fastest way to get there is by train. All you have to do is take bus 100 or bus 101 to Canning Bridge Station, hop onto the train going to Perth and then you take the Fremantle Line to Subiaco. Or you can take bus 99 to Oats Street Station, get onto the train to Perth Stn and then catch the train on Platform 7 (Fremantle Line).
