So I have been back in Malaysia for two weeks already and let's just say that my heart and soul is still in Perth and I don't think my heart and soul would wanna come back to me as a whole. Malaysia is my birth place but Perth got my attention and I've grown so much love for it in terms of the people, the food, and the lifestyle. Here in Malaysia, I'm trying my best to adapt to the hot and hazy weather which is not pleasing at all as well as not having the usual brunches that I normally have in Perth. In Perth, you've got vegan food, savoury food or sweet and savoury or GF food. AND THEY ALL TASTE SO DAMN GOOD.
So this post is dedicated to one of my favourite places in East Fremantle. I've been wanting to try this place for ages and finally I did after dropping my parents off at the airport. SO HALLELUJAHHHH *inserts celebratory dance*, Okay getting back to business. The place definitely looks small from the outside but inside, it's splendid. It was busy as usual and there was only a table left under the sun so we just sat there praying that we won't die from the heat while eating. Or the sun probably cooked my chicken even more.
I've heard good news of their fried chicken and waffle so I decided to get that for myself and a cocowhip. YUMMMMMM. So when you're hanging out with me for brunch, the tradition is that no one touches their food until i get a decent shot of it. HAHA i just can't help it.

Polenta waffle, buttermilk fried chicken, avocado, smoked sour cream, chilli maple syrup & jalapenos
THIS WAS INSANELY, INSANELY GOOD. It was so good that I literally licked my plate clean. It may look small but it's definitely filling. The polenta waffles were soft and fluffy and that fried chicken was so much nicer than KFC's fried chicken. No shit.
Breakfast burrito // Chorizo, feta, scrambled eggs, white beans, herbs & jalapeno sauce
Surprisingly, I thought the bf would order the waffles and fried chicken but I was wrong. He opted for what seem to be the simplest dish in the menu which I was so sure that he won't be full. When the burrito came out, I took the first bite cause it smelled so heavenly, and boy oh boy, I was indeed in heaven. The wraps tasted like those Malay "roti canai" which you can get at any Malaysian coffee shops. I'm sorry babe for eating half of your burrito. Can't help myself!
Fresh flowers for breakfast, anyone?
For those living around Curtin, I know it's far but it's definitely worth a visit. All you've gotta do is hop onto bus 100, 101 or 30 (always ask the bus driver if you're not sure on which bus 100 to get on or which stop to stop. There's no harm in asking!! Bus drivers here do not bite.)
