Before I start on my usual food post, I have good news and bad news. So which would you like to hear first?
I shall start with the bad news first. As some of you know that I have recently graduated in Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and I can no longer continue my stay here in Perth as I was only here for 1 1/2 years which makes me not able to apply for a TR visa.

But good news is that I will still keep this blog running until I get back to Perth probably after 3 years maybe. Another good news is that Nourish has given me the opportunity to post up my take on food recipes from around the world with my own twist in it. So yayyy to that!
Let's get back to food business. There were so many pictures of Piccolo's Corner on Instagram that I decided to give it a try!
So, the bf decided to order mushroom bruschetta and my, my it was a damn fine dish. I have no idea what they did or put in their ciabatta until it was literally melting in my mouth. I have to say that. that was the best ciabatta I have ever tasted. What could ever go wrong with this entire dish full of mushrooms?

Because the bf ordered what I wanted, I had to order the housemade spicy beans dish! It was a good dish but way way way too much beans. But I actually liked it, to be honest. It was incredibly yums. But there was one thing that was kinda disappointing. The poached egg was a little undercooked cause you could see some parts that were still raw.
Here, we have the lime and pistachio cake. Well, what can I say? I really really really love my pistachios. And to top it off, the cake was light and not as dry as you thought it would be.
To get there from Curtin University, all you need to do is take bus 100 or 101 to Canning Bridge Station going towards the Perth Underground Station. When you reach Perth Underground, do not leave the train but just wait in the train as it switches to the Joondalup line upon arrival at Perth. Then, you will have to get off the next stop - Leederville Station. But nothing is easy when it comes to good food. You would have to walk 950m to get to Piccolo's. Let's just say, lose weight before we gain it back. At least you won't feel so guilty! :D
